Job summary

Ladders seeks a Senior Director Government Programs to lead government contract delivery in the healthcare space. This remote US-based role oversees federal/state programs, aligns cross-functional teams, and ensures performance, risk management, and financial outcomes.

You will build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, drive strategic objectives, and mentor staff across government program initiatives while delivering strong results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or healthcare-related master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of account management experience in healthcare insurance (Medicaid/Medicare desired).
• 5+ years in government program integrity or payment integrity.
• 5+ years of direct staff management experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state government healthcare contracting.
• Exceptional client management and business development skills.

• Oversee multiple complex program tasks and initiatives.
• Plan, budget, and manage government contracts with P&L oversight.
• Serve as the primary client interface for contract performance and risk management.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Government Programs to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This leader will oversee government program delivery across complex healthcare contracts, with responsibility for operational execution, client performance, and risk management.

The role will guide cross-functional teams, shape strategic objectives for federal and state programs, and help ensure strong financial and operational outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare insurance, payment integrity, and government contracting, along with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $154,000 – $196,000 annually
