Job summary

GitLab Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to guide customers through the AI-powered DevSecOps platform, driving technical evaluations, architecture design, and value-based conversations across the full software lifecycle.

You will work with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to shape solutions, run proofs of value, and foster long-term customer relationships that demonstrate GitLab’s differentiated capabilities in a rapidly evolving AI-driven landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable source control and deployment platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts and related technologies.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations such as proofs of concept or value, and design workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to show how GitLab's AI-powered platform meets customers’ needs across the lifecycle.
• Own the technical evaluation process, including design of PoC/PoV, workshops, and tenders.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams to shape account strategies and drive new customer acquisition and expansion.
• Build relationships with practitioners and leaders to enable advocacy for GitLab.
• Advise customers on modern software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
