Mapbox is seeking a Senior Director of HR Operations and Total Rewards to scale our global People function. You will lead HR Operations, Total Rewards, and People Analytics, ensuring systems and processes are scalable, compliant, and aligned with our high-performance culture.

You will manage a team including a Benefits lead and a Compensation specialist, own the People tech roadmap, and drive AI integration to transform data and workflows into strategic assets for a remote-first, internationally

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in People Ops and Total Rewards.
• Experience leading HR operations in high-growth, remote-friendly tech environments.
• Experience with modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling).
• Ability to design and implement AI-driven processes.
• Experience collaborating with international teams, especially Europe.
• Strong data analytics and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Total Rewards strategy and oversee compensation programs globally.
• Lead and mentor a high-impact HR Operations team.
• Drive AI-driven improvements to HR workflows and automation.
• Own global HR infrastructure and compliance across entities.
• Oversee People Technology roadmap and HRIS leverage.
• Develop advanced analytics on headcount, pay equity, and organizational health.
