Job summary
Mapbox is seeking a Senior Director of HR Operations and Total Rewards to scale our global HR systems and programs. You will lead a team across HR Operations, Compensation, and Benefits, while driving People Analytics and AI-enabled improvements to our workflows.
You will own the People technology roadmap, partner with international teams, and shape a strategic, scalable total rewards program that aligns with a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in People Ops and Total Rewards in high-growth, remote-friendly tech environments.
- Experience modeling equity refresh in Excel and guiding global compliance.
- Direct experience with Rippling (or similar modern HRIS) and data architecture.
Responsibilities
- Lead global HR Operations, Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits), and People Analytics across a remote-first organization.
- Provide guidance and oversight of global benefits programs and compensation strategy.
- Develop and mentor a high-impact team, removing blockers and elevating impact.
- Identify AI solutions and integrate them into the operating model to scale processes.
- Own the People technology roadmap and ensure HRIS is leveraged securely and effectively.
- Move from descriptive reporting to advanced, predictive analytics on headcount, pay equity, and organizational health.
