Job summary

BD is seeking a senior leader to own the end-to-end eCommerce platform built on Adobe Experience Manager and SAP Commerce Cloud. You will act as a domain SME, guiding architecture, integrations, and delivery across enterprise systems.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to ensure scalable commerce for BD's global business. Based in the USA (NJ - Franklin Lakes), this on-site position emphasizes collaboration, governance, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of eCommerce experience; 8–10 years in enterprise app development/digital commerce.
Experience delivering scalable eCommerce solutions in B2B/B2C environments.
Experience working in Agile delivery models.
Experience integrating with ERP, PIM, and middleware systems.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end ownership, stability, and evolution of the eCommerce platform (AEM + CCv2).
Serve as SME and technical authority for eCommerce ecosystem including content, catalog, search, checkout, and order management.
Drive architecture discussions and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Guide development lifecycle, including requirements shaping, testing, and deployment governance.
Lead platform optimization, performance improvements, and incident management.
