Job summary

BD (Becton, Dickinson, and Company) seeks a senior leader to own the eCommerce platform strategy and execution. You will drive end-to-end ownership of the AEM and SAP Commerce Cloud-based solution, align with enterprise architecture, and guide cross-functional teams through design, development, and deployment lifecycles.

You will act as SME for content, catalog, search, checkout, and order management, shaping the roadmap and ensuring scalable, reliable delivery across ERP, PIM, and middleware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of eCommerce experience; 8–10 years in enterprise app development.
• Experience delivering scalable eCommerce solutions in B2B/B2C.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ownership, stability, and evolution of the eCommerce platform (AEM, CCv2).
• Act as SME and technical authority for eCommerce ecosystem—content, catalog, search, checkout.
• Gather, validate, and translate requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Lead solution design and architecture discussions with stakeholders and integrators.
• Provide strategic direction across SDLC and governance for platform integrity.
• Own and influence the eCommerce product and technology roadmap.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across business, IT, and external partners.
• Oversee complex system integrations and data flows across backend systems.
• Establish development and release governance and code quality standards.
• Lead platform optimization and performance initiatives.
• Champion intake, prioritization of enhancements/defects.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership on digital commerce trends.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing culture.
• Provide leadership in production support, incident management, and RCA.
