Job summary

Insight Global in the United States seeks a highly experienced Adobe Commerce (Magento) Architect to act as the senior technical authority for the enterprise eCommerce platform. You will own the architecture, scale, performance, reliability, and strategic direction while partnering with multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• Not a pure development role; emphasis on standards and governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior Adobe Commerce subject matter expert and platform architect.
• Define and maintain the long-term architecture strategy for Adobe Commerce across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, product teams, and stakeholders to design and implement new capabilities.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide platform enhancements, integrations, and modernization.
• Ensure stability, scalability, availability, performance, and security across environments.
• Design and oversee integrations with ERP, APIs, order management, payment platforms, inventory, and third parties.
• Establish and enforce development standards, principles, and governance.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership during major initiatives and upgrades.
• Mentor engineers and teams to raise technical maturity across the organization.
• Work with agile teams to align solutions with architecture standards and business goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the commerce ecosystem.
