Job summary

Versapay is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management to own and execute our enterprise data strategy, aligning data initiatives with product, AI, and commercial goals. The role requires leading the convergence of data layers into a unified operational backbone to enable AI-powered product features and data products.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data leadership with director-level enterprise data strategy experience.
• Proven track record modernizing and unifying multi-source data environments at scale.
• Deep expertise in modern data stack: cloud data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, ETL frameworks, and semantic modelling.
• Strong evidence of AI/ML infrastructure and governance underpinning safe, scalable AI deployment.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing technical teams and partner across Product, Engineering, and Commercial functions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Versapay’s enterprise data strategy aligning roadmap to product, AI, and commercial objectives.
• Lead architectural convergence of transactional, operational, and analytical data layers into a unified backbone.
• Own multi-year data maturity roadmap with milestones across architecture, governance, and accessibility.
• Operationalize data governance as a first-class concern with automated classification and platform SLAs.
• Build and own the Enterprise Data Asset Registry for secure internal and partner data sharing.
