nVent is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data and AI Architecture to define the technical direction for data and AI across the organization. You will shape multi-year architecture strategy, govern data flows, and set standards and governance to scale with the business.

You will lead end-to-end design for enterprise data solutions, master data management, and AI/ML architecture, while partnering with executives to align investments and roadmap with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. Certifications like Snowflake SnowPro Core/Advanced, AWS Solutions Architect, or CDMP/TOGAF are a plus.
• Experience: 12+ years in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, and enterprise/solution architecture; 5+ years in leadership roles; production-grade data/AI solutions; multi-year roadmaps; cross-functional programs.
• Soft Skills: Executive presence, strong facilitation, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous learning.

Responsabilités

• Own enterprise data and AI reference architecture and multi-year technology roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end architecture for data solutions from ingestion to consumption; oversee master data management with data quality and golden records.
• Architect AI/ML solutions including generative AI patterns; ensure governance, security, privacy, and compliance by design.
• Lead complex data projects end-to-end, manage scope, risks, and timelines; oversee M&A data integration strategies.
• Design and implement data integration across batch, near-real-time, and streaming workloads; establish ETL/ELT standards and data models.
• Engage with executive stakeholders; lead architecture reviews and cross-functional workshops; build trusted relationships.
