Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a Senior Director, Data Platform to unify leadership for modernizing and optimizing the foundational enterprise data platform. You will own the platform vision as both a product owner and technical leader, partnering with Product, Finance, and GTM to turn B2B financial data into decision-ready assets.

You will build and mentor a squad-based data team, drive AI-enabled analytics, and ensure strong governance and SLAs across the stack.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading squad-based data teams and people leaders.
• Experience with B2B data platforms, metrics, and data products.
• Strong governance and platform operations background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data platform roadmap and vision.
• Align priorities with AI enablement, analytics modernization, and data-driven decisions.
• Establish a data mesh with unified governance and operating model.
• Provide architecture and SLA guidance; optimize licensing and infrastructure spend.
• Define core financial metrics definitions with Finance, Product, and Sales.
• Drive data usage, adoption metrics, and connect to financial outcomes.
• Build and mentor a squad-based data team with clear OKRs.
• Manage managers and ICs; oversee hiring and performance reviews.
• Cultivate cross-functional partnerships with Product, Security, Finance, and Business Units.
