Job summary

Versapay is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management to own the enterprise data strategy and architect a unified data backbone across transactional, operational, and analytical layers. You will enable AI-driven product features, semantic data models, and external data products while aligning with the company’s product and commercial roadmap.

The role requires a strong track record in data leadership, governance, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on scalable data

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data leadership experience, including 5+ years at director level.
• Proven ability to modernize and unify multi-source data environments at scale (SaaS/fintech/payments).
• Deep expertise with the modern data stack: cloud warehouses, lakehouse, ETL, and semantic modelling.
• Experience applying AI/ML infrastructure to data governance, observability, and safe AI deployment.
• Strong track record building and leading cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive Versapay’s enterprise data strategy aligned to product, AI, and commercial goals.
• Converge transactional, operational, and analytical data layers into a unified backbone.
• Lead governance, catalogues, and data quality mechanisms at scale.
• Build and own data assets registry and external data product initiatives.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to enable AI-enabled features and safe data sharing.
