You will manage a sales team, shape strategies, and secure new business through strong account management and cross-functional collaboration. The role requires extensive CRO services sales experience, leadership capabilities, and a track record of working with biotech partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent.
• 15+ years of CRO services sales experience, including 5 years in management.
• Proven track record with biotech contacts and strategic insight into industry trends.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage an effective business development program to maximize growth.
• Direct sales activities from identification to contract award and relationship building.
• Manage a sales team within the territory according to policies and law.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance and guide development.
• Approve HR actions including salary administration.
• Provide direction and support for sales staff, including performance management.
• Utilize industry networks to identify opportunities and develop relationships.
• Monitor Customer Account Plans and pipeline to ensure opportunities remain.
• Collaborate with senior management to select team members for proposal meetings.
• Participate in proposal preparation and defense meetings as needed.
• Represent the sales team to senior management on key updates.
• Identify target markets, perform analysis, and execute plans for IQVIA service lines.
• Ensure sales staff receive training to meet objectives.
