Job summary

QTS Data Centers seeks a Senior Director, Development (Data Center Construction) to lead customer deployment projects across locations. You will coordinate with development, sales, and operations teams to ensure design, pricing, approvals, and deployment scopes meet client objectives and schedules.

The role requires 10+ years in mission‑critical facilities and strong project leadership, with travel as needed. QTS emphasizes growth, collaboration, and innovation in its data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or professional licenses in construction management or related engineering/architecture.
• At least 10 years of progressive responsibility in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• At least 5 years in data center project construction with large-scale facilities or DC lease providers.
• Willingness to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal at each QTS location.
• Coordinate with the Property Development team and consultants for design, pricing, approvals, and deployment scopes.
• Deliver projects aligning client objectives, vendor strategies, and cross‑group collaboration across QTS.
• Drive client relationship management and cost control to deliver on time and on budget.
• Serve as single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals.
