Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Director, Development (Data Center Construction) in Ohio to lead customer deployment projects across QTS locations. This role reports to the Property Development team and requires strong project management and construction expertise.

The position involves coordinating with sales, operations, and engineering teams, managing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction while supporting high-growth data center initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
• 10+ years in development of Mission Critical Facilities.
• 5+ years in data center project construction.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer deployment project delivery for each sold deal within each QTS location.
• Coordinate with the Property Development team and supporting consultants to support design, pricing, approvals and deployment scopes.
• Manage project delivery aligning client objectives, business processes, vendor management strategies and cross-group collaboration.
• Drive effective client relationship management and cost management to deliver on time and on budget.
• Serve as a single contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals.
