Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Senior Director, Development (Data Center Construction) to lead complex customer deployments from design through delivery. You will coordinate with the Sales, Operations and Property Development teams to ensure client requirements are met with high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

You will bring 10+ years of mission-critical facility development and 5+ years in large-scale data center construction, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture.
• 10+ years progressively responsible experience in Mission Critical Facility development.
• 5+ years leading large-scale data center construction projects or DC lease providers.
• Travel as required for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of customer deployment projects at each sold deal.
• Coordinate with Property Development and external consultants to support design, pricing and implementation.
• Align client objectives and vendor strategies across QTS to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive strong client relationships and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as primary contact for Federal sales support on potential secured deals.
