Job summary

Travere Therapeutics seeks an Executive Director to lead corporate development and growth strategy. You will identify, evaluate, structure, negotiate and execute strategic transactions to enhance the company’s portfolio.

A focus on M&A and in-licensing, plus collaboration with senior leadership across R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and Finance, is essential. The role requires 12–15+ years in biotech/pharma with proven deal execution and a strong grasp of biopharma economics, IP and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in scientific, business or related discipline required; MBA/PhD strongly preferred.
• 12-15+ years in biotech/pharma with focus on corporate development, search and evaluation, investment banking, consulting, VC or related field.
• Demonstrated experience leading and closing complex transactions in biopharma from initial evaluation through diligence, negotiation and execution.
• Strong understanding of biopharma industry including drug development, regulatory considerations, IP and development economics.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities including valuation methodologies, financial modeling and forecast analyses (rNPV/DCF).
• Demonstrated ability leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and execution of transactions including M&A, in-licensing, collaborations and partnerships.
• Oversee full deal lifecycle from initial assessment to closing with senior leadership.
• Develop transaction strategies and deal structures balancing opportunity, risk and capital.
• Coordinate with Legal on term sheets and agreements; lead due diligence and risk synthesis.
• Mentor Corporate Development team and represent Travere at industry events.
