Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned Executive Director of Corporate Development for a remote-ready role based in the US. You will identify, evaluate, structure and negotiate strategic transactions to grow the company's rare-disease portfolio.

You will partner with senior leadership across R&D, Regulatory, Commercial and Finance to drive deal execution, portfolio planning and strategic initiatives while mentoring the Corporate Development team.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in biotech/pharma with corporate development focus.
• Experience closing complex transactions from evaluation through execution.
• Strong understanding of drug development, regulation, IP, and economics.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and execution of transactions (M&A, in-licensing, partnerships).
• Manage deal lifecycle from initial assessment to closing and integration.
• Develop deal strategies balancing opportunity, risk, and capital needs.
• Collaborate with Legal and functional leaders on term sheets and agreements.
• Mentor Corporate Development team and liaise with external advisors.
