Job summary
Travere Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, is seeking an Executive Director of Corporate Development. This remote/US-based role reports to the Vice President, Corporate Development and leads strategic transactions, including M&A and in-licensing, to expand the company’s pipeline.
The ideal candidate has 12–15+ years in biotech/pharma corporate development or related fields, with strong financial modeling and cross-functional leadership, and will collaborate with
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business or related discipline required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 12–15+ years in biotech/pharma with corporate development, investment banking or related fields.
- Proven experience leading and closing complex biopharma transactions from evaluation to execution.
- Strong understanding of drug development, regulatory, IP and development economics.
Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and execution of M&A, in-licensing and strategic collaborations.
- Manage full deal lifecycle from assessment to closing and integration planning.
- Develop deal strategies balancing opportunity, risk and capital needs.
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and present recommendations to leadership and Board.
- Mentor Corporate Development team and external partners.
