Job summary
Travere Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Director of Corporate Development to lead and execute strategic transactions, including M&A and in-licensing, across the company’s portfolio. You will collaborate with senior leadership across Research, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Finance, Legal and more to build business cases and drive deals to close.
The role emphasizes strong financial acumen, transaction execution, and cross-functional leadership in a dynamic biopharmaceutical
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business or related discipline is required.
- MBA, PhD, or other relevant graduate degree strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and execution of transactions including M&A and in-licensing.
- Oversee deal lifecycle from initial assessment to closing with cross-functional teams.
- Develop transaction strategies balancing opportunity, risk, capital needs and value creation.
- Partner with Legal on term sheets and definitive agreements.
- Coordinate due diligence with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership.
- Support out-licensing, regional partnering, divestiture and other externalization initiatives.
