Job summary

Elligo Health Research is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development (Clinical Trials) to lead senior-level relationship building with biotech/pharma decision-makers. You will manage an assigned territory, grow a robust sales pipeline, advance opportunities, and expand relationships with both known and unidentified accounts.

The role emphasizes mentoring Directors/Associate Directors and representing Elligo at meetings to drive future business development, while maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 8+ years in pharma/research site sales.
• 3+ years in clinical research preferred.
• Operations experience in clinical trials preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of research and pharmaceutical industry terminology and practices.
• Proven ability in presenting and negotiating.
• Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet demanding deadlines.
• The ability to cold call is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize established relationships with pharma/biotech.
• Generate new leads and prospects through analysis of industry activity, research, and outreach.
• Vet-qualified leads from various sources, including inside sales, trade shows, referrals, etc.
