Job summary

Justworks is seeking a Senior Director of Central Operations to lead the transformation of our Operations organization. You will build the operational backbone with standards, systems, and capabilities and drive the AI and automation agenda across the function.

You will own centralized functions including operational excellence, data/KPIs, third-party systems, and learning & development, elevating Operations as a strategic engine and competitive advantage for the business.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations or related field.
• Experience building SOPs, KPIs, and governance cadences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Operations transformation and AI/automation initiatives.
• Build and lead a lean, high-performing Central Operations team.
• Define and maintain standards, governance, and quality benchmarks across ops teams.
• Own the KPI framework and deliver timely, reliable reporting for Ops.
• Own the Operations tool stack and drive effective governance of third-party platforms.
• Own learning and development programs to support transformation initiatives.
