Job summary

Justworks is seeking a strategic and innovative Lead, Talent & Organizational Development to shape how our organization evolves as work, technology, and business change. You will drive the evolution of organizational design, talent management, and performance management to move from role-based to capability-based structures, integrating AI-enabled workflows.

Reporting to the Director, TOD, you will partner with business leaders to align operating models with strategy, design future-state

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in organizational development, organizational design, talent management, workforce planning, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing organizational structures, operating models, or workforce planning solutions.
• Experience building and implementing scalable talent and performance management systems.
• Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging workforce and talent data to drive decisions.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive talent systems and integrating DEIB principles.
• Strong understanding of AI, automation, and emerging technologies reshaping workforce design.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise Organizational & Talent Reviews (OTRs) that align business strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and talent decisions with the Director, TOD.
• Drive talent segmentation, critical role identification, and succession planning processes.
• Partner with People Business Partners and leaders to assess organizational health, talent risks, and future capability needs.
• Evolve Career Growth Through Skills-Based Talent Architecture and JCJ framework in collaboration with Total Rewards.
• Own Performance Management Strategy & Execution and drive company-wide goal-setting and calibration.
• Lead change management efforts for new structures, talent practices, and performance systems.
