HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Director of Case Management for Oviedo Medical Center in Oviedo, FL.

The role oversees case management operations, staff development, and care coordination to ensure optimal clinical resource use and patient outcomes. The Director will lead interdisciplinary teams, coordinate with external agencies, and drive performance improvements while maintaining compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration preferred.
• RN (Registered Nurse) or related credentials preferred.
• No travel required.
• 3 years of experience in overall acute care Hospital Case Management preferred.
• 2+ years of case management leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including the case management model, staffing, information technologies, onboarding, and staff competencies to achieve performance and quality objectives.
• Allocates resources to staff department and meet productivity and quality goals.
• Responsible for oversight of CM core functions and practice.
• Ensures adherence to care coordination and discharge planning processes, with timeliness, quality, and proper documentation.
• Collaborates with Facility CFO and Division CM Leader to achieve goals and expectations.
• Assesses and improves department performance by evaluating processes, monitoring data, and implementing improvements.
• Ensures compliance with policies and SOPs.
• Establishes relationships with stakeholders including CMO, CNO, and Legal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement.
