Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to drive revenue growth in the biopharma and pharma manufacturing space. The role is fully remote with travel to build territory relationships and client engagements nationwide.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in sales with 5+ years in senior BD, strong industry knowledge, and a proven track record closing large deals. Base salary up to $175K plus 1.5% commission on deals signed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience with 5+ years in senior BD roles in biopharma/pharma manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of drug products, injectables, and clinical manufacturing.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills; proven leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic BD plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify market opportunities in biopharma and pharma manufacturing.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Lead negotiation and closure of large-scale deals.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure successful service delivery.
- Provide industry thought leadership and represent the company at events.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry conferences nationwide.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead.
