Job summary

KBI Biopharma is seeking an experienced business development professional for a remote role based in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will negotiate contracts with biopharmaceutical clients and forge new client relationships. A technical Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related experience is required.

Salary ranges from $165,000 to $195,000 plus commissions, alongside benefits including medical coverage, PTO, and 401(k) matching. The role requires travel up to 50% to client sites and meetings.

• Minimum of 9 years’ experience in business development in a life science industry.
• Track record of success in technical business development.
• Ability to travel up to 50% or more to visit client sites.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and close contracts for KBI services with biopharmaceutical clients.
• Identify new potential clients and qualify sales leads.
• Participate in trade shows and scientific meetings.
