Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Lab that turns frontier AI research into security systems deployed on endpoints and in the cloud.

You will shape strategy, hire leaders and own delivery of high‑impact AI security capabilities used by customers worldwide. You will guide multi‑team engineers and researchers, set roadmaps, and ensure production readiness while maintaining a focus on latency, cost and reliability.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent and 15+ years in software/ML/security engineering.
• 8+ years leading engineering or research teams, with 4+ years managing managers.
• Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML security systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world‑class engineering and research organization.
• Define multi‑year AI security strategy and roadmap with clear OKRs.
• Deliver frontier AI on endpoint with strict latency, memory and power budgets.
• Deliver AI at cloud scale with scalable streaming and model serving.
• Lead autonomous defense programs from concept to production.
• Move top Lab results into the Falcon platform with robust handoffs.
• Establish benchmarks and evaluation practices to measure security efficacy and reliability.
• Collaborate with other CrowdStrike teams to align on strategy and execution.
• Communicate strategy, progress, risks and investments to executives.
• Represent CrowdStrike externally with frontier AI labs and partners.
