Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to build and lead the Lab that translates frontier AI research into real-world security systems. You will guide engineers and researchers to deploy AI on endpoints and in the cloud, balancing latency, memory, and cost while steering strategy and roadmap.

You will recruit and mentor leaders, drive architectural tradeoffs, and partner across CrowdStrike to align AI capabilities with business goals, ensuring trusted, scalable security solutions.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, ML or security engineering.
• 8+ years managing engineering or applied research teams.
• 4+ years leading managers across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-year technical strategy for the Lab's AI security systems.
• Lead engineering managers, principal engineers and researchers.
• Deliver AI on endpoint and cloud-scale with latency and cost controls.
• Drive production deployment of autonomous defense and agentic systems.
