Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Senior Director to lead PGS and Enterprise Solutions Data Strategy & Architecture, shaping AI-ready data products and platform standards across manufacturing, quality and supply chain. You will define the target-state architecture, canonical models, and governance, partnering with data owners to ensure scalable, compliant data delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or related field; 12+ years in data architecture, data management or data engineering; 7+ years leading teams.
• Proven ownership of enterprise data architecture, data models and data standards in a large federated org.
• Applied knowledge of AI technologies and what being AI-ready demands for data strategy and execution.
• Track record partnering with business and solution teams to translate strategies into architectural standards and roadmaps.
• Broad understanding of Digital Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and SAP ERP concepts.
• Experience establishing data governance in regulated environments with data integrity requirements.
• Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across business and tech.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state technical data architecture and multi-year roadmaps with business data owners.
• Own canonical data model and domain ontologies as governed, executable artefacts.
• Lead data contract and schema standards; establish certification criteria for trusted data products.
• Sign off data and integration standards across federated model.
• Build and retain a high-performing team of architects and stewards.
• Direct Domain Technical Data Stewardship with domain-aligned stewards.
• Own data governance policy for GxP environments and regulatory readiness.
• Chair architecture reviews of major data initiatives and guide build-vs-conform decisions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Fabric, Loom, AI Center of Excellence, ERP, Cyber & OT Security, Identity & Access.
• Serve as a senior voice with PGS leadership on data strategy, standards and stewardship.
