Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Director of PGS and Enterprise Solutions Data Strategy & Architecture Lead to own the target-state data architecture and canonical data model across PGS and ES. This role partners with business data owners to ensure data strategies translate into executable architectures and governance in a regulatory environment.

The role requires leading a high‑performing team of architects and coordinating with cross-functional solution teams, with a strong emphasis on data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or a related field and 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data management or data engineering, including 7+ years leading teams and setting standards at enterprise scale.
Demonstrated ownership of enterprise data architecture, data models, and data standards across a large federated organization.
Applied knowledge of AI technologies and what being ‘AI-ready’ demands of Data Strategy and execution.
Experience partnering with business and solution teams to translate strategies into architectural standards and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Define and own the target-state technical data architecture and multi-year roadmap for PGS & Enterprise Solutions.
Own the canonical data model and domain ontologies as governed, executable artefacts built on open standards.
Lead the definition of data contracts, schema standards and the data product definition with data owners; establish certification criteria.
Build and lead Domain Technical Data Stewardship and enable data governance in a regulated environment.
