Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Senior Director for PGS and Enterprise Solutions Data Strategy & Architecture in a hybrid US role. You will define the target-state data architecture, own the canonical data model, and establish governance for AI-ready data products across global data networks.

The role partners with business data owners to align data standards, contracts and certifications, while leading a high-performing team of architects and stewards. Excellent stakeholder influence is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data management or data engineering, incl. 7+ years leading teams.
• Ownership of enterprise data architecture, data models, and data standards at scale.
• Experience applying AI concepts and data strategies in practice.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and tech.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state technical data architecture and multi-year roadmap for PGS & ES.
• Own canonical data model and ontologies as governed artefacts with open standards.
• Define data contracts, schema standards, and trusted data product criteria.
• Sign off data and integration standards across federated model.
• Lead Domain Technical Data Stewardship and a team of domain stewards.
