Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a senior data science leader to Own the analytical direction of AI-based workflows within Innovation, Data & Analytics. You will steer model selection, segmentation methodology, and agent decision logic in collaboration with Engineering and Governance.

You will mentor junior data scientists, partner with engineers to deploy production-grade pipelines, and influence strategic prioritization across medical analytical initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, or similar.
• Hands-on experience evaluating and experimenting with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects and coach colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Own model selection and evaluation frameworks for AI-based workflows.
• Design cohort and customer/HCP segmentation methodology using real world data sources.
• Direct the analytical logic and decisioning behind agentic workflows with rigor and defensibility.
• Partner with AI/ML Engineer to translate methodology into production-grade agents and pipelines.
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists and data engineers.
