Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Senior Director of Network Software Services to lead multiple teams building software for a secure, scalable AI cloud. You will own networking services, architecture, and operational excellence for high-availability systems, partnering with product and engineering to set a long-term technical strategy.

You will hire and grow AI-enabled software engineers, drive security posture improvements, and ensure observability and reliability across

Qualifications

• 8+ years building large-scale distributed systems for cloud infrastructure or enterprise networks.
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams and 2+ years managing managers.
• Deep expertise in networking protocols and data-center/cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Own the networking services that deliver our network monitoring, security, performance, and availability goals.
• Own the architecture and operational excellence of large-scale distributed network systems, control planes, and data paths.
• Own company-level goals: programmatically improving security posture, observability of network health, and traffic engineering capabilities.
• Set multi-year technical strategy for network software services to scale ahead of demand.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers and leaders; design scalable team structures.
