Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a Senior Director of Network Software Services to lead multiple teams building software that enables secure, high-performance AI cloud connectivity at massive scale.

You will own network monitoring, security, and availability, while shaping multi-year technical strategy and mentoring engineers and leaders. This role reports to the VP of Cloud and AI Networking in Bellevue or SF.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building highly available, large-scale distributed systems for cloud infrastructure
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams and 2+ years managing managers
• Deep expertise in networking protocols and data-center/cloud networking
• Experience shaping multi-year technical strategy for scalable software services

Responsibilities

• Own networking services for monitoring, security, performance, availability goals
• Own architecture and operational excellence of large-scale distributed network systems
• Set and pursue multi-year technical strategy for network software services
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers and leaders; design scalable org structure
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve Lambda connectivity and reliability
• Represent org's direction to senior leadership and customers
