Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Director of Agentic Engineering in the United States to define the long‑term vision and roadmaps for agentic platforms that empower Lightspeed’s Product & Technology teams to work with AI agents across the product lifecycle.

You will build and lead the shared platform capabilities, establish governance, drive adoption across customer teams, and partner with Security, Legal, Data and Architecture to embed responsible AI while delivering measurable improvements in

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Proven ability to define and scale internal platforms and developer platforms.
• Experience building AI-enabled and agentic systems with governance and observability.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for agentic engineering.
• Build and lead teams responsible for shared platform capabilities and governance.
• Create an extensible platform that enables multiple teams to adopt workflows.
• Partner with business and platform leaders to scale valuable use cases.
• Establish evaluation systems for performance, quality, reliability, and security.
