Job summary

Preply in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for GenAI and Agentic Platforms to lead two teams and drive production AI capabilities.

You'll own engineering strategy, partner with Product and Applied Science, and coach 8-12 engineers, shaping platform abstractions and operational standards.

This role requires strong technical judgment and a hands-on approach to architecture and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple AI/ML engineering teams.
• Strong architectural and production-grade software skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Applied Science, and Security teams.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term vision for GenAI Platform and the Agentic Platform.
• Partner with Product Manager across both teams to define outcomes and investments.
• Coach and develop approximately 8–12 engineers across two teams.
