Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President, Agentic AI Engineering, for its GenAI Center of Excellence. You will own the strategy and architecture of the enterprise agentic AI platform, setting the vision for multi-agent orchestration, security, and governance across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees a plus.
• 12–17 years of relevant experience, including leadership of large-scale, multi-agent or AI-driven platforms.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with at least one other modern language (Java, Go, or C++).
• Strategic ownership of platform architecture and roadmaps; deep knowledge of agentic AI systems.
• Extensive hands-on and leadership experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) including security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Experience partnering with executive and cross-functional teams on platform strategy and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise agentic platform strategy, architecture, roadmap, and governance standards.
• Drive innovation in multi-agent orchestration at scale across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Set organizational standards for multi-agent orchestration, IAM/RBAC, and runtime security.
• Represent the Agent Foundry and Runtime pods in governance forums, influencing cloud adoption and strategy.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and cost optimization for agentic AI workloads across cloud platforms.
• Lead and develop engineering leadership talent across pods.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data/Knowledge, and Product teams for end-to-end platform strategy.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement with best practices for cloud-native agentic platforms.
• Oversee compliance, risk, and performance reviews for enterprise AI across environments.
