Job summary

Hirschbach Motor Lines seeks a Senior Director – Operations Dedicated to lead dedicated account operations across all shifts, ensuring service excellence and proactive issue resolution for a 200+ truck fleet.

The role partners with on-site customer leadership to maintain continuity, improve performance, and meet customer expectations while coaching staff and driving safety, reliability, and profitability. This on-site, full-time position requires strong leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field.
8+ years of transportation or logistics experience, including leadership within dedicated fleet operations.
Proven track record managing 24/7 teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.
Proficiency in transportation management systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage dedicated account operations across multiple shifts and hours.
Foster coaching, performance feedback, and development for direct reports.
Drive accountability for KPIs including service, on-time delivery, and driver satisfaction.
Partner with customer leadership to review performance and align on strategy.
Monitor fleet utilization, route efficiency, and profitability; implement improvements.
Develop and refine SOPs and escalation protocols for dedicated freight operations.
Ensure 24/7 operational support with effective handoffs between day and night teams.
