Job summary

Hirschbach Motor Lines seeks a Senior Director – Operations Dedicated to lead dedicated account operations across all shifts, ensuring service excellence and proactive issue resolution for a 200+ truck fleet.

The role partners with on-site customer leadership to maintain continuity, improve performance, and meet customer expectations while coaching staff and driving safety, reliability, and profitability. This on-site, full-time position requires strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field.
• 8+ years of transportation or logistics experience, including leadership within dedicated fleet operations.
• Proven track record managing 24/7 teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage dedicated account operations across multiple shifts and hours.
• Foster coaching, performance feedback, and development for direct reports.
• Drive accountability for KPIs including service, on-time delivery, and driver satisfaction.
• Partner with customer leadership to review performance and align on strategy.
• Monitor fleet utilization, route efficiency, and profitability; implement improvements.
• Develop and refine SOPs and escalation protocols for dedicated freight operations.
• Ensure 24/7 operational support with effective handoffs between day and night teams.
