Penske Logistics is seeking a Senior Manager, Transportation Support Services to lead a 24/7 operations team across multiple functions. You will set strategic priorities, oversee performance, and ensure service commitments align with customer needs.

This role partners with Operations, IT, HR, Finance, Safety, and Sales to drive initiatives, improve efficiency, and build leadership capability. Regular presence with customers and associates is expected as part of a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 8+ years in transportation, logistics, or related business, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale operational teams across functions.
• Proven ability to drive operational improvements and organizational change.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Transportation Support Services operations and meet business priorities.
• Lead and develop managers, supervisors, and functional leaders.
• Translate objectives into operational plans, performance expectations, and resource needs.
• Monitor performance, trends, and metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Recommend staffing, process, and efficiency improvements.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and remove barriers.
• Lead technology enhancements, automation, and process improvements.
• Build strong internal/external customer relationships and act as escalation point.
