Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Senior Direct Care/MAP Specialist for an Intensive Treatment Residential program in West Springfield, MA. The role leads shifts, supervises staff, and maintains a structured, therapeutic environment for male youths aged 5–13, supporting treatment plans and youth well-being.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a registered and insured car, and collaboration with LPN/RN to manage the MAP med room.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the population served.
• Driver's license required.
• Legally registered & insured car for work use.
• Experience in community child welfare and mental health programming.
• Previous supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist program leadership with oversight of assigned shifts to meet youth and family needs.
• Lead a group of staff and delegate shift duties to teammates.
• Ensure integrated CHD services are delivered efficiently and in line with treatment plans.
• Collaborate with LPN/RN to manage the med room per MAP policy/regulations.
