Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Senior Direct Care professional for an Intensive Treatment Residential program serving male adolescents (5-13). The role involves leading shifts, ensuring structured, therapeutic care, and coordinating with leadership to meet youth and family needs.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience), driver’s license, MAP/CPR certifications, and prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the population served.
• Experience working with youth and their families.
• Previous supervisor experience.
• Hold Medication Administration Program (MAP) or complete training within 3 months of hire.
• Active CPR and First Aid certification or complete training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned shifts to meet the needs of youth and families.
• Lead a group of staff and delegate shift duties.
• Ensure delivery of behavioral health treatment aligns with treatment plans.
• Maintain a structured, therapeutic environment and ensure CHD services are integrated effectively.
