Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in Springfield, MA is seeking Direct Care Staff for part-time, on-site work at Meadows Homes. The role supports adults with developmental disabilities in a residential group home. You will assist with daily living, monitor personal care, and provide medication administration training.

Qualifications

• MAP certification or eligibility (medication administration training).
• Vehicle and valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral complexities encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and hygiene.
• Administer medications as needed (training provided).
• Advocate for individuals in community settings with a person-centered approach.
• Provide opportunities to enhance independence and quality of life.
