Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) in West Springfield, MA is seeking an experienced Program Supervisor to join our team in a residential setting serving adults with developmental disabilities.

The role requires two years of supervisory experience, MAP certification, CPR/First Aid, and a bachelor's degree. You will supervise staff, support daily living activities, and advocate for clients within community settings. A valid driver's license and flexibility to work weekends are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience with the population and supervisory experience.
• MAP certification, CPR and First Aid are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with computers.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Reliable automobile and valid driver's license required.
• Flexibility to work one weekend day, including on call.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all staff to ensure proper service delivery.
• Supports clients' daily living activities; administer meds as needed.
• Advocates for individuals in various community settings; promote independence.
• Develop professional, supportive relationships and provide person-centered guidance.
• Interacts with clients to assess needs, discuss problems, set limits, and encourage growth.
• Ensure ISP documents are followed and document progress; orient new staff.
