Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Water Account Executive to lead sales efforts for digital water solutions. You will build and manage a robust client pipeline, engage decision-makers, and drive revenue growth by delivering tailored value for water and utility customers.

The role requires strong prospecting, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership to align market positioning and client outcomes. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and expansion of existing client relationships.
• Develop and communicate clear value propositions and business outcomes to decision-makers within client organizations.
• Build, manage, and advance a robust sales pipeline across all stages of the sales cycle, including forecasting and revenue tracking.
• Manage client relationships through regular engagement to understand needs, identify opportunities, and ensure long-term partnership growth.
• Translate client needs and pain points into tailored sales strategies for digital and SaaS-based solutions.
• Participate in contract negotiations and support timely resolution of client sales issues.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts, and client documentation within the CRM system (Salesforce).
• Partner with leadership to support sales strategies, targets, and market positioning.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and informal training to support team effectiveness.
