Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Digital Water Account Executive to build and manage a robust sales pipeline for digital water solutions. You will partner with leadership to deliver client-focused strategies, nurture relationships, and drive revenue growth across the Central US/Great Lakes region.

The role requires strong presentation skills, deep knowledge of the digital infrastructure market in water/wastewater, and experience with GenAI/LLMs.

Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills and professional presence.
• Knowledge of the digital infrastructure market, particularly in AEC and water/wastewater.
• Familiarity with GenAI, large language models (LLMs), and data science concepts.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts with solid planning and time management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, problem solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Experience researching target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Navigator and ZoomInfo.
• Interpersonal and collaboration skills including conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
• Develop clear value propositions for decision-makers in client organizations.
• Build and advance a robust sales pipeline across all stages and forecast closely.
• Manage client relationships with regular engagement and growth planning.
• Translate client needs into tailored digital/SaaS sales strategies.
• Support contract negotiations and resolve sales issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity forecasts (Salesforce).
• Partner with leadership to refine sales strategies and market positioning.
• Provide guidance and training to support team effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as required.
