Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Digital Water Account Executive to join our growing team. This role builds next-generation digital tools that integrate utility data, models, geospatial data, and data science to solve complex engineering and environmental challenges.

Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing value propositions, and leading a robust sales pipeline across the full cycle. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and expansion of existing client relationships.
• Develop and communicate clear value propositions and business outcomes to decision-makers within client organizations.
• Build, manage, and advance a robust sales pipeline across all stages of the sales cycle, including forecasting and revenue tracking.
• Manage client relationships through regular engagement to understand needs, identify opportunities, and ensure long-term partnership growth.
• Translate client needs and pain points into tailored sales strategies for digital and SaaS-based solutions.
• Participate in contract negotiations and support timely resolution of client sales issues.
• Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts, and client documentation within the CRM system (Salesforce).
• Partner with leadership to support sales strategies, targets, and market positioning.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and informal training to support team effectiveness.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Travel 20% - 40%.
