Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our Digital Technology organization. You will support data-driven Industry 4.0 initiatives across global factories, deploying and sustaining software to connect people, equipment, and products.

This hybrid role involves on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures with a focus on automation, scripting, and secure, compliant operations. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access program information.
• Extensive experience with digital technology infrastructure and related concepts.
• Hands-on experience with application administration across server environments (install/config/backup/recovery).
• Experience with automation tooling and containerization; familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, and sustainment of Industry 4.0 platforms across global sites.
• Serve as technical focal point and owner for digital factory systems.
• Analyze requirements and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Translate needs into system designs, specifications, and plans.
• Support current and legacy applications ensuring reliability and security.
