Collins Aerospace is seeking a Systems Administrator in a hybrid role to support and advance data‑driven Industry 4.0 initiatives across global manufacturing sites. You will work hands-on with information systems, servers, cloud platforms, and manufacturing devices, collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and solve complex technical challenges.

The role emphasizes strong communication, multi‑tasking, attention to detail, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to information.
• Extensive experience with digital technology infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with application administration (install/config/backup/recovery).
• Experience with automation tooling and containerization.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Ability to lead projects and guide customers to solutions.
• Experience with databases (SQL/Oracle/HANA/Databricks).
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of ITIL and enterprise process frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, and sustainment of Industry 4.0 platforms across global sites.
• Serve as technical focal point and application owner for digital factory systems.
• Analyze requirements and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Translate customer needs into system designs and implementation plans.
• Support current and legacy applications for reliability and compliance.
• Perform system installation, integration, hardening, patching, and log management.
