Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Digital Engineering to lead back-end teams delivering scalable digital services across web and native apps. You will oversee data migration to the cloud and guide AI-enabled transformations to improve member experiences.
You will mentor engineering professionals, shape strategic roadmaps, and work with business partners to ensure alignment with objectives. This is a hybrid/remote role across multiple continental USA locations.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise-scale solutions.
- 3+ years of leading large cross-functional projects with micro-services and streaming platforms.
- 2+ years of Agile/Scrum practices and modern cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision for product and platform capabilities; guide architectural decisions.
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams; coach managers on leadership.
- Drive delivery excellence with clear goals, accountability, and improved velocity.
- Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align work with business priorities.
- Evaluate and integrate cloud services and AI to enhance experiences and efficiency.
- Monitor team health, remove blockers, and resolve workflow impediments proactively.
