Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager of Digital Engineering to lead back-end teams delivering scalable digital services for members. You will guide data migration from legacy systems to the cloud and drive AI-enabled enhancements across web and native applications.

You will provide coaching and strategic guidance to engineering professionals, shaping roadmaps and ensuring alignment with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of software development experience with enterprise solutions and cloud technologies.
• Three or more years of leading large cross-functional initiatives including micro-services and event-driven architectures.
• Two or more years of experience with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision for product and platform capabilities; guide architectural decisions across distributed systems.
• Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering teams; coach managers on leadership practices.
• Drive delivery through clear goals, accountability, and continuous improvement of velocity and quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align work with business priorities.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies—cloud services and AI—to enhance experiences and efficiency.
• Monitor team health, remove blockers, and resolve workflow impediments proactively.
