Job summary

Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager of Digital Engineering to lead backend teams, shepherd cloud migrations, and drive AI-enabled digital initiatives. You will guide data migration, micro-services, and scalable architectures while mentoring engineers.

You will collaborate with product, design, and operations to align engineering work with business goals, while fostering innovation and high performance across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise-scale and cloud environments.
• 3+ years leading large cross-functional projects including micro-services and event-driven architectures.
• 2+ years of Agile/Scrum experience.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical vision for product and platform capabilities across distributed systems.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams; coach managers and promote leadership practices.
• Drive delivery excellence with clear goals, accountability, and continuous improvement of velocity and quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, architecture, and operations to align work with business priorities.
• Evaluate and integrate cloud services and AI to enhance member experiences and efficiency.
• Monitor team health, remove blockers, and resolve workflow impediments proactively.
